Consulting scope

I advise investors (funds, VCs, PEs, and family offices) and startups in the deep tech sector, with a particular focus on early-stage technologies and their feasibility and scalability. I combine broad technological and strategic knowledge with in-depth expertise in physics, chemistry and materials technology.

My technological focus areas include battery technologies, energy storage, and all other areas of deep tech that utilize high-tech materials (e.g., semiconductors, aviation / defense / space).

For my expertise in the battery sector, I was appointed to the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space’s Advisory Board on Battery Research, where I advise policymakers on roadmaps and the German high-tech agenda.

I have worked in innovation, strategy, corporate development/M&A, and startups, bringing many years of project experience to the table. I understand the perspectives of investors, strategists, and family offices, as well as those of corporate and independent startups.
